Founded by Henry Thomas in 2015, Lakeside Classics was born from a lifelong passion for the Porsche 911. Today, we are a dedicated Porsche 911 specialist, dealing exclusively in these iconic cars — buying, selling, and preparing 911s every single day.
We know the Porsche market inside and out because we live it. Unlike many dealers, we own all of our stock — giving us complete confidence in every car we offer. With over 40 Porsche 911s on site at any given time, we provide one of the widest selections in the UK, from air-cooled icons to the latest modern classics.
Because we buy and own every car ourselves, we’ve built up a huge network of owners who approach us directly. We cut out brokers and middlemen, ensuring a transparent process. Once a deal is agreed for your car, we move quickly to arrange collection — offering a confidential, hassle-free sale. Many of our customers are highly successful and busy people, so we pride ourselves on making the process as smooth, efficient, and care-free as possible.
Every car we sell undergoes a rigorous 90-point inspection, where we identify and rectify anything required to bring it up to the standard our reputation is built on. We do not negotiate on quality. To give our clients complete peace of mind, we include a 6-month in-house warranty with every Porsche we sell. We do not outsource this — we stand by every car ourselves, prepared to the highest standard before it leaves our showroom.

Danny has been instrumental in shaping Lakeside Classics into what it is today, bringing with him the professionalism, processes, and standards of a main dealer — while helping us maintain the more personal, intimate service that defines us as a private business. His product knowledge is second to none, and as a true Porsche 911 enthusiast and collector himself, his passion is clear in everything he does.
As an official member of the Porsche Partner Network (PPN), we have direct access to the latest technologies, resources, and announcements from Porsche headquarters — ensuring our servicing and maintenance remain fully in line with Porsche’s own standards. We also have a strong relationship with Porsche, working closely with our local Official Porsche Centres to support our clients and their cars.
Our facilities include a 5,000 sq ft showroom and a 4,000 sq ft service centre, where our team of highly qualified technicians — true Porsche enthusiasts themselves — look after every car with passion and precision. We provide everything from servicing and MOTs to detailed maintenance, using genuine Porsche parts while offering labour at a fraction of main dealer costs. This allows us to deliver the same level of quality and care without compromise.
We are also a proud affiliated partner of 9 Werks, founded by Lee Sibley — one of the world’s most respected Porsche journalists, well known from Total 911 magazine. This partnership reflects our shared passion for the Porsche community and strengthens our connection with enthusiasts worldwide.
